When I copy a link to Facebook for a product, the thumbnail that shows up is my store logo and the information is also general site information and NOT related to the product. Can someone tell me what needs to be done so that I can post direct product links and have the information show up on Facebook? Also, the images that show up are not optimized for the posts, maybe there is a plugin for this? If there is, I have not come across one specifically solving this problem.

Hi, My store www.kidsplayhousestore.co.uk has started showing all my products at £0.00, even though they are set at proper prices via the admin back-end. Even if I clone, create a new product, or edit and re-save any existing products they also show at £0.00 only - I cannot find a way to make them show the correct price. I am running ver 6.08 and php version 5.6.15. It was working fine earlier and I haven't knowingly changed anything to make this occur. I have had to make all my store products invisible apart from a single test product, as I cannot risk customers purchasing at no actual cost. I have also cleared back-end caches etc, to no avail. Can anyone please help me with this? Anyone else had this problem before? Many thanks Billy

Hello there, I need to upgrade my store from v6.0.4 to v6.0.8. I did a lot of changes and I can't do an automatic upgrade. Is it possible to do a manual one? Thanks!

Has anyone else tried to use their templates? You have to FTP or CPanel them in. IF they show up in the admin page they come up with Blank white screens. Most of them don't show in the admin page. Is the a maximum number of skins I can upload? What am I doing wrong.....

A few days ago I installed CubeCart via the one click installation offered as part of a hosting plan by the Hostmonster hosting company. I have a few question on my mind: Can one change the skin and howCan one change the direction of the program from left to right and where to import Arabic language fromCan one make it as simple as making payment be made on delivery of the item to local purchaser. The credit card mechanism is not needed. I mean, if purchaser decides to buy an item he/she only presses BUY button and he/she will be switched to a form to fill in address and telephone no.. The merchant then delivers the item and get the money from the the purchaser.I will be so grateful if there is anyone who can reply my queries

Is there a list of files anywhere that shows only the files that have been changed from version 6.0.6 to 6.0.7? Some of us can't use the upgrade now button in admin as our files may be tweaked. To compare every file for changes would be really time consuming. A list of changed files would be nice. Thanks, Claudia

I am trying to configure one of my stores for both a Shipping option and Local pick up option for select items.... problem is that some items like furniture pieces are local only. Is there a way to pick a default shipping option per product item?? Or any way to set this up at all?

I am using the Clean skin now and I have the store setup for grid view. When I go to a category, I see everything is clean and nice, but I would like to add a row in each product grid that would display the product review/ratings (stars). The only time I see this is when you're on the actual product page. I think it would help drive more sales if people could glance at the grids and see how items are rated. Can someone help me figure this out? Appreciate any help!

I already have a normal Paypal gateway installed on my shop. I want to create a Paypal recurring payments button (on Paypal site) and put it on certain items in my shop. Once I create the button on the Paypal site, I will have the html code snippet and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on the best way to place the code (which includes the button icon) on certain items?

When I tried to update several plugins today I get an error when I insert the new token to update a plugin. A red bar come up and it reads, " Its not been possible to read the contents of the file." I found that if I manually down load/upload the files, the token works. I did a search of cubecart and did not find any prior art on this issue. Has any one else seen this? Any ideas? upgrades.docx

I just noticed today December 22 that my cart is redirecting every product page someplace else. For example I enter: https://emperorsherbologist.com/extra-dark-chocolate6oz And I get redirected to my WP URL With a URL https://emperorsherbologist.com/wp/?seo_path=extra-dark-chocolate6oz I can get to the cart with no redirect https://emperorsherbologist.com/cart/ and when I click on a product in the cart, I get redirected to the main wordpress page wih a URL of https://emperorsherbologist.com/wp/?seo_path=[whatever the cart url should be] I'm using Foundation skin, and did nothing to change anything on it. Everything was working properly earlier.

Typically when I'm working on a website with a database, I keep the database credentials in a file stored outside of the public web root directory so that it is impossible to access via URL, and I also set up different database users for regular users (e.g. customers) and those with elevated privileges (e.g. admins). Hi All, I added a document in the admin section, now none of my pages will scroll. The only other thing I did was add text to the header. But every was fine after I did that. I only started after adding the page. I use e Shift The side bar moves, but the page does nothing. I tried IE & Chrome. I tried other skins and it works fine. Seems to be limited only to e Shift Skin.

Hi, Ive installed the addthis plugin, all is working fine except the facebook share, when i want to share a product to my facebook account it posts my facebook profile photo instead of the product photo. Any ideas how to resolve this?

Hi folks. I'm setting up my product ups and setting the stock level for each option. When I test, at first it said "out of stock". I then removed the "stock level" check box on the general tab of the product. This will allow me to select the product option. However, after checking out, the option stock level does not change. Does the stock level for the options function? Am I missing something her? Thanks. Jack

I can't seem to login to my admin section as I have in the past. The webpage just remains white with no place to enter login information. I am running version 6.0.8 Any ideas? PS Its just a white screen with no error messages of any kind

Hi I have installed the security suite plugin. Now 2 changes are advised by the plugin. MEDIUM Rename the Admin DirectoryFail. We recommend renaming the /admin folder to something hard to guess. We recommend renaming the /admin.php file to something hard to guess. The change must be specified this in the includes/global.inc.php file. It must keep the .php extension! Example: $glob['adminFile'] = '5b06482.php'; Can this be done without any problems ( database etc.. ), meaning if i made these 2 changes will the site and admin part work normally or can i expect more problems.
