  1. updating form 4.4.6 to 5.x then update 6.x to (was think 6 would fix ups error) night i put item in the shopping cart and go to "Your Shopping Basket" you have the on the top The following errors were detected: Unfortunately there are no suitable shipping methods available for your order. This may be because the total weight of your order is too high or we cannot ship to your country. Please contact a member of our staff for any further inquiries This was working be for i update to 4 to 6 night ups
  2. Hi Guys, Not sure if this is possible but would be an almost perfect shipping system if it is.. For Cubecart V6.04 Is there any ways to make the Shipping Per Category not defaulting/relying to 'Primary Category' for the shipping costs? But rather get the shipping costs from whichever category that has the shipping costs entered.

First off, my English isn't the best but hopefully you guys can understand what I'm writing ;-) When customers are using the shop and putting stuff into the basket it shows the price nicely, but when they use the 'back' button of the browser it shows before putting the last item in the basket, even when clicking the basket it shows all items except the last one. Is there a way of refreshing the basket even when using the back button of the browser?? Hopefully this question hasn't been asked in the past, I was looked for it but couldn't find it..   4. We need to add a new order status called "Booked In" (which admin set order to after it comes in) and this should be when stock should be changed. I was able to create new order status by giving it code 7 in const PAYMENT_BOOKED = 7; etc, but I need to find file in admin which execute the code which change stocks on admin action any help!
  5. Hi Developers, I send organic wine all over the world and across Australia by various freight companies. The standard packing sizes are 1,3,6,12,24,36 .... bottles. I would like to have some code to allow customers to be guided to fill their packaging to the correct number of bottles. At the moment I have to email customers asking them if they want a bottle or two more to fill the carton at no extra charge in postage. I look forward to hearing if this is possible. regards Duncan

First off, my English isn't the best but hopefully you guys can understand what I'm writing ;-) I had a few customers that really weren't that smart with webshops I think and they couldn't find the account settings and order history. I know it's easy but they thought it was only text and not an option. Last night I just added a dropdown arrow and that was all they needed. Where to change it? Just testing new release 6.0.4, noticed that when you register as a customer and you are at the page where both your shipping and delivery addresses are confirmed at the top of the page with your shopping cart below, country names have suddenly been changed to country codes, typically the ones that we use for shipping modules, ie Austria now displays as AT. This will need addressing.
  8. I see default order is set to name (ASC) , we are looking to add a "default order" in which products will be shown as decided by admin is it possible someway in CC6?

We want to use the Create Order option in the V6 Admin Panel to enter orders on behalf of customers who phone and/or email our client with orders. Shipping Method (drop-down list if there is more than one option) We would also need the Shipping and Tax to be calculated when the Inventory details are added. At present this does not happen. Is there something we’ve missed in the set-up process or it this not currently in the Cubecart V6 spec? If it’s the latter, does anyone have any mods to enable it?   11. It looks like the Advance Search page is there i Foundation, based on content.search.php - but what is the url for it? I'd like to add the link to it. Also, I have a stray link on the Search Results page that I cannot for the life of me find the source of. There is a link to our Security-Privacy page there, right above the Sort By choices that I need to get rid of.

So I sign into the admin page and I am given notice there is a new update "WARNING: Your store is not up-to-date, v6.0.4 is available, but you are running v6.0.2" so I try the upgrade button and get this "Failed to download latest version. Please attempt manual upgrade" so what will I need to do to install the zip manually and what will it change to the pages I have modified colors and text? I am new to cubecart. thanks for any help in this matter.
  16. Hi, Cubecart V6.0.2 There appears to be a bug in the product display price (id="ptp") when using negative values for product options. The final price is calculated correctly at the cart but the option value is added to the display price rather than subtracted. For example; if I have a product with a price of £10 and I then create a dropdown list of size options with the smallest sizes having a product option value of negative £2 and the largest sizes having a product option value of £2, BOTH will be displayed as £12 rather than £8 when selecting the smaller option and £12 for the large. I hope I've explained it clearly enough. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. T
  17. When I upgraded from v5 to v6 I've lost part of the skin template on my site and I'm not sure why.. It's the only thing I've seen thus far that isn't working so I'm confused as to why it's not working anymore.. Below is the script I was/am using. However the links are not even showing on the site anymore, it's not even in the script and from what I'm seeing it's pulling from a different file than the previous one?   18. Hi all, and my wish list continues .... incomplete orders, ie pending orders for which payment has not come through for whatever reason and abandoned carts. Today, as there is no function for this in Cubecart, we send follow-up emails ourselves one by one. It is time consuming but we recover so many sales that we have to do it. I know that this function can be automated as it is offered by other carts. At the moment, we do it two ways. When it is a pending order, we have one email template for that and when we see a customer that fully registered but did not place any order, which we qualify as abandoned cart, we have a different email template too.   19. Hi Why is the category menu (top horizontal dynamic one) disappears when you are in the basket or checkout pages ? It then finally re-appears at the end of processing an order. It does not make sense and from a customer's point of view, it is off putting. It looks like we are being transferred to another site thus risk of losing the customer's trust at this stage and the resulting sales. Thanks Sandrine

I have a latest V6 store currently in offline mode for testing and payment getaways paypal express and sagepay in testing modes as well, express checkout seems to work fine but when trying to checkout with sage pay after entering all billing details and verifying recaptcha it won't allow me to do so, nothing happens when I click secure checkout button. one more thing when I add allowed zone UK it won't show payment method on checkout page. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
  21. Currently using Cubecart 6.0.2, started with 6.0.0 right when it was released. I had a customer email me yesterday stating that the address information on his order was from a completely different customer. A bit of investigation showed that yes, this customer did create an account with his own information, but for some reason Cubecart pulled the address information from a completely different previously registered customer to populate the default address fields. Fortunately he caught it and brought it go my attention before I shipped his order. In looking back in the customer list, I see that many (but not all) of my customers seem to have default address pulled from previously registered customers. You can see the problem this presents, even if the customer catches it before placing an order. The software was updated from 6.0.0 to 6.0.2 right back when 6.0.2 was first released and didn't receive any indications there were problems. I'm fairly certain that the database schema was upgraded. Just to be sure, I downloaded 6.0.2 again and tried to reinstall it, but the system said I was already at the latest version and wouldn't let me proceed. I do see an error in the logs which is probably related, as it seems to be thrown for the customers who have this issue. A redacted sample is: File: [user.class.php] Line: [365] "INSERT INTO `cube_CubeCart_customer` (`title`,`first_name`,`last_name`,`email`,`phone`,`mobile`,`password`,`new_password`,`ip_address`,`registered`,`type`) VALUES ([REDACTED]);" - Duplicate entry '[REDACTED]' for key 'email' Orders also seem to be attributed to the wrong customers, which is also quite problematic. Obviously, this is disturbing to my customers, so any help I can get in resolving this quickly would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
  22. Currently we run a CC V5.2.14 on a dedicated server. This business is running for 3 years now. About 6 months ago, almost all of our major keywords brought us on 'page 1' of google. Then we had to change our domain name in a way that we had no chance to do it smoothly. We want back there. We need an SEO expert (or company) who can do this job for us. We have a budget for this. It is clear to us, that this is an ongoing process and takes time. We expect that this project will run at least 3 months. To make the next step, we need a first skirt from you about what you can do for us. As a prerequisite, you have done this already on a CubeCart shop system and you know about the options and limitations. It is not just about optimizing our CC configuration, we also need your help to integrate social media, news, boards, whatever. As tracking systems we use googe webmaster tools and google analysis.   23. This month we want to move our shop system to a dedicated server, running Windows Server 2008 or 2012. (preferable). Currently we run CC V.5.2.14 on a dedicated Linux server. We need help for seeting up CC on this windows server. We have a budget and we need your offer for this setup. This setup must include setup of the database server (MySQL or MS SQL (preferred), needed additional software like PHP and their configuration within MS IIS 8.0 After your work, this IIS must be up and runnung with CC, ready for the backup files of our current system.   24. Taxes are not being added to my products. I have tried the following: In Taxes: tax class name> "taxname" > Tax Details >Display as "taxname" & "null" >tax rules "taxname" "20%" "Country=Canada, US" "all regions" apply to "goods" status "enabled" On product panel>Pricing: I add "taxname". I have tried switching "tax included" to 0 (off) and 1 (on) but neither one results in tax being added to the product when the customer checks out. I've added tax to the base price in the interim. Checkout: Paypal is the only form of checkout for our store, however the store offers a "checkout using credit card" button. The button does not auto-redirect to paypal so orders sent this way can't be processed (they end up coming up on my panel as "pending" and returning the inexplicable error message "that e-mail has already been registered") I have been e-mailing paypal invoices to customers and confirmed that no gateway other than paypal is selected, but that hasn't worked. Custom No product image image I can't locate the link to put in my own custom, logo-based "no image" box Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
  25. I am looking to get orders to be exported to .csv like the Sales Report does now, however, I need it at the item detail level. Specifically I need to export what items were ordered and the costs of each item. Is there anyway for me to do this? I have done plenty of searching but haven't found anything and a search for 'export' returns nothing from this forum. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks, Devon
